In the past the city has hosted one off AFL footy games and other sports at the QEO.

The excitement and enjoyment this brings to see your team or any team from a national competition play in your city is a great feeling.

My aim as a Councillor is to bring AFL footy and other sports to bendigo, not as a one off but as a permanent fixture.

This is already done and committed too in Ballarat where the western bulldogs play three games per year at mars stadium.

My vision is to secure an AFL team, and other teams from national and state leagues to be committed to play in Bendigo regularly.

It’s time to put Bendigo first and get investment back from our community facilities.
